As a key component of the automobile transmission system, the structural characteristics of automobile tightening wheel bearings are mainly reflected in the overall composition, rolling bearing design, sealing and lubrication design, anti-loose structure (some products), etc., as follows:
Overall composition and working principle
Automobile tightening wheel bearings are usually composed of core components such as fixed shells, tension arms, wheel bodies, torsion springs, rolling bearings and spring sleeves. Its working principle is to generate pressure pointing to the belt or chain through an internal spring or hydraulic device, so that the tensioning wheel is in close contact with the transmission component, and realize the function of automatically adjusting the tension force. When the belt changes tightness due to wear, elongation or temperature changes, the tightening wheel bearing can quickly respond and adjust the tension force to ensure stable operation of the transmission system.
Rolling bearing design
Type selection: Deep groove ball bearings are mostly used because they can carry high-speed operation requirements and adapt to the characteristics of fast engine operation speed.
Structural optimization:
Outer ring channel curvature: Optimized design to meet high-speed performance and axial squirming requirements.
Cage design: adopts an engineering plastic cage with an oil storage tank structure to effectively increase lubrication capacity and reduce friction.
Sealing and lubrication design
Sealing performance:
Sealing ring structure: adopts a three-lip medium-contact structure, which has high sealing performance to prevent water vapor, dust, etc. from entering the bearing.
Material selection: The sealing ring uses imported acrylate rubber or fluoroelastomer + stainless steel frame. Some products with low requirements can use polyacrylate + low carbon steel plate.
Lubrication design:
Grease selection: Use synthetic oil (base oil) + polyurea-based (thickening agent) grease to provide long-lasting lubrication effect.
Lubrication method: The cage has oil storage tank design to enhance lubrication capability and extend bearing life.
Anti-loose structure (some products)
Some automobile tightening wheel bearings have anti-loose structures designed to enhance working stability. For example, a circularly distributed anti-loose groove is opened on the outer circumference of the bearing outer ring, and a circle of teeth hobbing is provided in the bottom of the groove along the circumferential direction. When the bearing is working, the pulley is blocked by the anti-loose groove in the axial direction and the circumferential direction is blocked by the hobbing teeth, thereby effectively preventing loosening and slipping.
